ABLE Act Webinar Wrap-Up
On Tuesday, May 22, D.A.D.S. and NDSS held our joint Webinar about the ABLE Act and it was a rousing success! Nearly 300 Dads participated - many with their D.A.D.S. group as a chapter activity.Besides the scheduled speakers of Steve Beck, Sara Weir, Joe Meares and Darin Yoder, we were also treated by an introduction by Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers explaining what ABLE means to her.
Now, as discussed during the Webinar, there is Action needed to help get ABLE passed. Whether or not you attended, download the presentation (here) and follow the steps to contact your Senators and Representatives.

John Goodrich is a father of three - a son with Down syndrome and two daughters. He has been involved in D.A.D.S. since he was encouraged by his wife to attend a meeting shortly after his son was born in 2002. Even though D.A.D.S. was only a few months old at the time, its mission was visible enough to keep him coming back. John helps administrate the electronic communications for D.A.D.S.
